Our Eggs

Great-Tasting, Nutritious Eggs

Once you’ve dined on our eggs you’ll never reach for a dozen in the supermarket again. They’re so much more flavorful, in no small part because you’ll eat them when they’re only minutes or hours fresh, not weeks or months old. You’ll even see the difference in the yolks, which are a healthy orange – not the pale yellow you’re used to.

Plus, you can feel good about the organic eggs you’ll be feeding your friends and family. Our chickens eat only organic, non-GMO chicken feed and freely forage on our 108 acres of rolling hills, vast wildflower fields, and forests. Research shows that chickens allowed to roam freely and eat grass lay eggs that are higher in healthy Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E, and lower in cholesterol than store-bought.

We love our chickens. We name them, spoil them with treats, and pick them up and hug them any chance we get.

Egg Color

You may be accustomed to seeing brown and white eggs at the store, but our breeds lay blue eggs, green eggs, deep chocolate brown eggs, cream-colored eggs and almost everything in between! We adore the variety of colors we get from our flock, and we believe you will too!

Get One Step Closer to Sustainable Living

Do you find it disconcerting how far removed we all are from the animals and plants we need to survive? How our fast-paced lives and ever-increasing demands are trashing the planet that sustains us? Believe it or not, purchasing our eggs and helping to provide a safe and loving environment for chickens equates to taking a stand against all this. The more chickens you help live a healthy, natural life, the fewer chickens end up in a commercial chicken farm under deplorable conditions.

Save a Chicken from a Factory-Farm Life

If you’re aware of conditions in factory farms, even in some of the so-called “free range” factory farms, we needn’t say more. If you’re not, please research it. Factory farming is terrifyingly cruel. The good news is that by buying our eggs you help fund our natural organic farm thus reducing the demand for store-bought eggs and sending a message to those factory farms that you don’t want what they’re selling.

Save a Rare Breed

In today’s homogeneous world of agro-farming, just a few breeds of chicken are produced en masse and the continuance of hundreds of other “heritage” breeds ultimately depends on small farmers like us! Please consider buying our eggs and helping to save these gorgeous heritage breeds and ultra-rare breeds in our flock.
